Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist the research team on a smart emergency power systems project using retired electric vehicle batteries.
- Design and validate coupled multi-physics models for agrivoltaics-wind systems in subtropical climates.
- Deploy IoT-enabled smart monitoring systems for crops, livestock, and renewable energy generation.
- Implement machine learning algorithms to optimize energy generation, agricultural productivity, and cost-efficiency.
- Conduct experiments and collect data using IoT sensors for soil moisture, solar irradiance, and wind speed.
- Optimize resource allocation between energy and agricultural outputs.
- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams including engineers, agronomists, and economists.
- Maintain documentation of system configurations and publish findings in peer-reviewed conferences and journals.
Requirements & Qualifications
- At least 5 subjects with Level 2 in HKDSE or equivalent, including English.
