Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead and support high-impact research initiatives on energy-saving materials for smart buildings.
- Design and execute experiments on thermochromic window materials with energy-saving capabilities.
- Synthesise, characterise, and evaluate material performance for solar transmittance and thermal re-emission modulation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide guidance to junior researchers and postgraduate students.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Hold a recognised Doctoral degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related discipline; or a Master's degree with relevant work experience.
- Demonstrate expertise in designing and synthesising thermochromic compounds for smart window applications.
- Possess proficiency in advanced characterisation techniques including UV-Vis-NIR Spectroscopy, DSC, and thermal conductivity measurements.
- Have experience in quantifying energy-saving performance, durability evaluation, and using simulation tools to optimise material design.
Appointment
- Temporary contract — 1 to 1.5 months with possibility of renewal.
