Duties & Responsibilities

Conduct independent and collaborative scholarly research in breast surgery with focus on molecular genetics and cancer biology.
Attract competitive grants to maintain active research programmes.
Teach undergraduate and postgraduate programmes and supervise research postgraduate students.
Perform administrative duties as required.

Hold a Ph.D. degree or equivalent in Surgery or a related discipline.
Demonstrate strong track record in breast surgery research, particularly molecular genetics, next generation sequencing, cancer biology, and tumour microenvironment.
Show outstanding achievements in high-quality research through publications and external grants.
Provide evidence of international recognition and ability to work across disciplines.
Display strong commitment to undergraduate and postgraduate teaching.

Full-time; Three-year fixed-term contract with possibility of renewal and consideration for tenure before expiry of second three-year contract.
