Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct research in AI-enabled design and building technology with focus on computational design and digital fabrication.
- Teach undergraduate and postgraduate architecture programmes in an intensive environment.
- Develop innovative computational tools and theories exploring technology's impact on human perception and experience.
- Participate actively in shaping the Department's culture through teaching and administrative responsibilities.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Hold a postgraduate and professional degree in a relevant field.
- Possess a Ph.D. in Architecture, Design and Technology, or affiliated discipline (preferred).
- Demonstrate established record of teaching and research in advanced technology in design.
- Have experience in multidisciplinary contexts and developing projects applying AI to augment creativity and sociability.
Appointment
- Full-time contract — Three-year fixed-term basis with possibility of renewal and consideration for tenure before expiry of second three-year contract.
