Tenure-track Assistant Professor in Synthetic Organic Chemistry

Duties & Responsibilities

Conduct high-impact research and make significant contributions to synthetic organic chemistry.
Publish research findings in reputable journals and present at conferences.
Secure external funding through grant applications and participate in collaborative research.
Teach and mentor undergraduate and postgraduate students in chemistry courses.
Contribute to academic and administrative duties of the Department.

Ph.D. in Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Material Science, or a relevant field.
Outstanding teaching skills in organic chemistry, chemical biology, biochemistry, medicinal chemistry, and spectroscopy.
Commitment to delivering high-quality teaching and mentoring to students.
Experience in securing external research funding and collaborative projects is preferred.
Expertise that complements the Department's strengths in Materials, Chemical Biology, Spectroscopy, and Synthetic Chemistry.

Full-time contract — 3 years initially, with possibility of renewal and tenure consideration.
