Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct and publish cutting-edge research in sociology or related fields.
- Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
- Supervise graduate and undergraduate students.
- Undertake service and administrative responsibilities within the department.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Hold a Ph.D. in Sociology, Criminology, Anthropology, or a related field.
- Demonstrate strong commitment to excellence in research, teaching, and academic leadership.
- Specialization in cybercrime and/or digital harm (e.g., surveillance, digital victimology, misinformation, AI and crime, financial crimes) is particularly welcome.
Appointment
- Full-time, three-year fixed-term contract with possibility of renewal and consideration for tenure before expiry of second three-year contract.
