Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage ongoing research projects on emerging infectious diseases.
- Publish original research articles consistently in high-impact journals.
- Obtain external competitive grants.
- Participate in teaching and enhance medical and healthcare-related courses.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Hold a Ph.D. degree in Microbiology, Virology, or related disciplines.
- Demonstrate strong track record in virological research in specified areas: virus interactions, artificial intelligence/computational methods, viral immunity, or omics investigations.
- Those with less experience may be considered for Assistant Professor appointment.
Appointment
- Tenure-Track Associate Professor/Assistant Professor; three-year fixed-term contract with possibility of renewal and tenure consideration before expiry of second three-year contract, subject to satisfactory performance.
