Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct independent and collaborative scholarly research with competitive grant funding.
- Teach undergraduate and postgraduate programmes and supervise research postgraduate students.
- Perform administrative duties as required by the department.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Ph.D. degree or equivalent in a related discipline.
- Strong track record of high-quality research demonstrated by publications and external grants.
- Evidence of international recognition and demonstrated ability to work across disciplines.
- Essential expertise in bioinformatics, high-throughput sequencing data analysis, and computational biology.
- Highly valued skills in data science and artificial intelligence applied to biomedical problems.
- Strong commitment to inquiry-based learning at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
Appointment
- Full-time, three-year fixed-term contract with possibility of renewal and consideration for tenure; exceptionally outstanding candidates may be considered for tenure-track appointment.
