Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct independent and collaborative scholarly research with competitive grant funding.
- Teach undergraduate and postgraduate programmes and supervise research postgraduate students.
- Perform administrative duties as required by the department.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Hold a Ph.D. degree or equivalent in a related discipline.
- Demonstrate a strong track record of high-quality research with significant publications and external grants.
- Show evidence of international recognition and scholarship across disciplines.
- Possess essential expertise in bioinformatics, high-throughput sequencing data analysis, and computational biology.
- Have strong skills in data science, artificial intelligence applied to biomedical problems, statistical modeling, and genomics research.
Appointment
- Full-time, three-year fixed-term contract with possibility of renewal and consideration for tenure; exceptional candidates may be considered for tenure-track appointment.
