Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct independent and collaborative scholarly research and secure competitive grants.
- Teach undergraduate and postgraduate programmes and supervise research postgraduate students.
- Perform administrative duties as required by the department.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Hold a Ph.D. degree or equivalent in a related discipline.
- Demonstrate strong track record of high-quality research with publications and external grants.
- Possess essential expertise in bioinformatics, high-throughput sequencing data analysis, and computational biology.
- Show evidence of international recognition and cross-disciplinary scholarship.
- Demonstrate commitment to inquiry-based student learning at all levels.
Appointment
- Full-time, three-year fixed-term contract with possibility of renewal and tenure consideration; exceptionally outstanding Associate Professor candidates may be considered for tenure-track appointment.
