Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct independent and collaborative scholarly research in urology with focus on genetic epidemiology and prostate cancer.
- Attract competitive grants to maintain active research programmes.
- Teach undergraduate and postgraduate programmes and supervise research postgraduate students.
- Perform administrative duties within the department.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Ph.D. degree or equivalent in Surgery or related disciplines.
- Strong track record in urology research, particularly genetic epidemiology, genetic functional study, and clinical translational research.
- Evidence of international standing and outstanding achievements in high-quality research.
- Strong publication record and success in securing external grants.
- Demonstrated ability to work across disciplines and strong commitment to teaching.
Appointment
- Full-time, three-year fixed-term contract with possibility of renewal and consideration for tenure before expiry of second three-year contract.
