Duties & Responsibilities
- Participate in, organize, and develop undergraduate and postgraduate teaching programmes.
- Conduct independent research and supervise postgraduate research students.
- Provide clinical services at the University's teaching hospitals.
- Contribute to administrative duties in the Department and Faculty.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Possess a medical qualification registrable with the Hong Kong Medical Council.
- Hold postgraduate professional qualifications in clinical microbiology and infectious diseases.
- Demonstrate excellence in teaching with evidence of strong commitment to teaching development.
- Show track record of research publications and potential for independent research.
- Have broad knowledge and clinical experience in clinical microbiology and infectious diseases.
Appointment
- Full-time, Fixed-term contract — Four years with possibility of renewal and consideration for tenure before expiry of second four-year contract.
