Duties & Responsibilities
- Participate in, organize and develop undergraduate and postgraduate teaching programmes.
- Conduct independent research and supervise postgraduate research students.
- Provide clinical services at the University's teaching hospitals.
- Contribute to administrative duties in the Department and Faculty.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Possess a medical qualification registrable with the Hong Kong Medical Council.
- Hold postgraduate professional qualifications in clinical microbiology and infectious diseases.
- Demonstrate excellence in teaching with strong commitment to its development.
- Show potential for conducting independent research through published track record.
- Possess broad knowledge and clinical experience in clinical microbiology and infectious diseases.
Appointment
- Full-time, four-year fixed-term contract with possibility of renewal and consideration for tenure before expiry of second four-year contract, subject to satisfactory performance.
