Tenure-Track Clinical Associate Professor in Gastroenterology

Duties & Responsibilities

Participate in planning and delivery of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in gastroenterology.
Conduct research in gastroenterology with focus on high-impact outputs and securing external grants.
Develop and provide regular clinical services and patient care at affiliate teaching hospitals.
Contribute to administrative duties in the Department, Hospitals, and Faculty.

Medical degree registrable with the Medical Council of Hong Kong and a relevant higher academic qualification (M.D., Ph.D.).
Higher qualification in internal medicine and specialist qualification in gastroenterology recognized by the Hong Kong Academy of Medicine or equivalent.
Proven track record of active research with high-impact publications, external competitive grants, and research awards.
Fluency in Cantonese, Putonghua, and English; demonstrated excellence in clinical services, training, and teaching.
Preference given to candidates with experience in research governance, university/hospital administration, and early- and late-phase clinical trials.

Full-time, four-year fixed-term contract with possibility of renewal and consideration for tenure before expiry of second four-year contract.
