Duties & Responsibilities

Lead teaching, research, and clinical innovation programmes across multiple medical disciplines.
Maintain high standards in teaching, research, and clinical practice within assigned departments.
Foster academic collaboration within and outside the Faculty and University.
Pursue strategic directions for departmental development and growing clinical services.
Teach medical students, supervise postgraduate students, and conduct academic research.
May be assigned duties at hospitals and clinics affiliated with HKU Health System.

Possess specialist registration with Hong Kong Medical Council or eligibility to apply for Certification of Specialist Registration.
Hold relevant higher academic qualification (e.g., MD, MS, PhD) preferably.
Demonstrate distinguished and sustained record of high-quality impactful research with publications and competitive grants.
Show demonstrated clinical excellence and international recognition for scholarship and professional expertise.
Demonstrate excellence in teaching, curriculum development, mentoring, and supervision.

Full-time; Four-year fixed-term contract with possibility of renewal and consideration for tenure before expiry of second contract.
