Duties & Responsibilities

Contribute to research, teaching, and clinical innovation programmes across multiple medical disciplines.
Maintain the highest standards of quality in teaching, research, and clinical programmes.
Foster academic collaboration within and outside the Faculty and University.
Pursue new strategic directions for departmental development and clinical services growth.
Teach medical students, supervise postgraduate students, and conduct academic research.
Discharge duties at hospitals and clinics affiliated with the HKU Health System as assigned.

Possess specialist registration with the Hong Kong Medical Council or eligibility to apply for certification.
Hold a higher academic qualification (e.g. MD, MS, or PhD) preferably.
Demonstrate a distinguished record of high-quality, impactful research with publications and competitive grants.
Show demonstrated clinical excellence and international recognition for scholarship and expertise.
Evidence strong commitment to and excellence in teaching, curriculum development, and mentoring.

Full-time; Tenure-track on four-year fixed-term basis with possibility of renewal and consideration for tenure; exceptional Clinical Professor candidates may be considered for tenure appointment.
