Tenure-Track Clinical Professor in Periodontology

Duties & Responsibilities

Teach clinical and didactic Periodontology at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
Supervise research projects and conduct internationally competitive research.
Participate in clinical and administrative duties of the Faculty.
Engage in knowledge exchange activities and mentoring of junior staff and students.

Hold a dental or medical Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
Possess a clinical specialist qualification in Periodontology or equivalent status.
Hold a Ph.D. degree or equivalent.
Demonstrate internationally recognised research and scholarly achievements.
Have leadership experience in knowledge exchange activities of international recognition.
Show effective communication and interpersonal skills with diverse stakeholders.
Have demonstrated teaching ability and rich experience mentoring junior staff and students.
Obtain valid registration with the Dental Council of Hong Kong.

Full-time; Four-year fixed-term contract with possibility of renewal and consideration for tenure before expiry of second four-year term; Outstanding candidates may be considered for tenure-track appointment.
