Duties & Responsibilities
- Ensure highest standards of quality in teaching, research, and clinical activities.
- Promote academic collaboration within and outside the Faculty and University.
- Explore new strategic directions for departmental development.
- Contribute expertise in one of seven specified obstetrics and gynaecology disciplines.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Hold specialist registration with the Medical Council of Hong Kong or be eligible for Hong Kong Academy of Medicine certification.
- Possess higher academic qualifications such as MD, MS, or PhD.
- Demonstrate distinguished and sustained record of high-quality impactful research.
- Show demonstrated clinical excellence and international recognition for scholarship and expertise.
- Have outstanding record of excellence in teaching, learning, knowledge exchange, services, and administration.
- Preference given to those with administrative leadership and management experience.
Appointment
- Full-time, four-year fixed-term contract with possibility of renewal and tenure consideration before expiry of second four-year contract, subject to satisfactory performance; exceptionally outstanding candidates may be considered for tenure track appointment.
