Duties & Responsibilities
- Contribute to undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and curriculum development.
- Supervise postgraduate students and conduct high-quality research.
- Undertake administrative duties at the School of Future Media.
- Collaborate across disciplines and with industry partners.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Ph.D. degree in film production, journalism, media studies, computer science, AI, data science, or related fields.
- Strong commitment to excellence in research and teaching with proven academic leadership.
- Outstanding and internationally recognised research achievements (essential for Professor level).
- Expertise in global creative industries, gaming, digital humanities, visual arts, music, or visual communications.
Appointment
- Full-time tenure-track position; Assistant Professors appointed on three-year fixed-term basis with possibility of renewal and tenure consideration; Professor/Associate Professor level candidates may be considered for direct tenure.
Key Dates
- Commencement: January 2027 or as soon as possible thereafter.
