Duties & Responsibilities
- Teach at undergraduate and postgraduate levels and develop curriculum.
- Conduct high-quality research in assigned field(s).
- Supervise postgraduate students.
- Undertake administrative duties within the School of Future Media.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Ph.D. degree in film, journalism, media studies, computer science, artificial intelligence, data science, or related fields.
- Strong commitment to excellence in research and teaching with proven academic leadership.
- Outstanding and internationally recognized research achievements required for Professor-level appointment.
- Expertise in global creative industries, AI/technology applications, or related areas.
Appointment
- Full-time; Assistant Professors appointed on three-year fixed-term basis with possibility of renewal and tenure consideration; Professor/Associate Professor level candidates may be considered for direct tenure.
Key Dates
- Commencement: January 2027 or as soon as possible thereafter.
