Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct high-quality research and publish findings in reputable journals.
- Secure and manage external research funding from federal and industrial sources.
- Teach and mentor students at undergraduate and postgraduate levels using inquiry-based learning.
- Contribute to interdisciplinary collaboration and innovation in biomedical engineering.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Ph.D. degree or equivalent in a related discipline.
- Strong track record of high-quality research with significant publication record and external grants.
- Evidence of international recognition and demonstrated ability to work across disciplines.
- Commitment to engaging students in inquiry-based learning at all levels.
Appointment
- Full-time — Three-year fixed-term contract with possibility of renewal and consideration for tenure before expiry of second three-year contract; exceptional candidates may be considered for tenure appointment.
