Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead and manage translational research projects in ophthalmic artificial intelligence.
- Develop clinically deployable screening and diagnostic systems using retinal image analysis and foundation models.
- Teach and supervise undergraduate and postgraduate students in inquiry-based learning.
- Perform administrative duties as assigned.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Ph.D. degree in Medical Image Processing, Artificial Intelligence, Computational Health Sciences, or related disciplines.
- Proven track record of impactful research, publications, and external grant funding.
- Strong experience in translational AI research for ophthalmology, including AI-enabled imaging devices, retinal image analysis, or disease screening systems.
- Demonstrated leadership and commitment to student engagement.
Appointment
- Full-time; three-year fixed-term contract with possibility of renewal and consideration for tenure.
