Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead and manage translational research projects in ophthalmic artificial intelligence.
- Develop clinically deployable screening and diagnostic systems using retinal image analysis and multimodal learning.
- Teach and supervise undergraduate and postgraduate students in inquiry-based learning.
- Perform administrative duties within the department.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Ph.D. degree in Medical Image Processing, Artificial Intelligence, Computational Health Sciences, or related disciplines.
- Proven track record of impactful research, publications, and external grant funding.
- Strong experience in translational AI research for ophthalmic imaging, retinal analysis, or disease screening systems.
- Demonstrated commitment to student engagement and leadership in academic settings.
Appointment
- Full-time, three-year fixed-term contract with possibility of renewal and consideration for tenure before expiry of second three-year contract.
