Tenure-Track Professor/Associate Professor/Assistant Professor in Asian and Comparative Law in the Faculty of Law

Duties & Responsibilities

Conduct high-quality research and actively participate in research communities to enhance the Faculty's research profile.
Develop and deliver teaching in undergraduate and postgraduate law programmes.
Contribute to the Faculty's legal education mission across various programme types.

Normally hold a first degree in Law (LLB, BA(Jurisprudence), or JD) and an additional postgraduate law degree (LLM, PhD, D Phil, or SJD).
Applicants without a postgraduate law degree may apply if they have a strong publication record, teaching/practice/judiciary experience, or a postgraduate degree in a non-law discipline.
Professors must be outstanding academics with international reputation as field leaders.
Associate Professors must demonstrate excellence in teaching and research.
Assistant Professors must be academically strong with potential for excellence in teaching and research.

Full-time, three-year fixed-term contract with possibility of renewal and tenure consideration before expiry of second three-year contract; direct tenure possible for suitably qualified applicants.
