Tenure-Track Professor/Associate Professor/Assistant Professor in Asian and Comparative Law in the Faculty of Law

Duties & Responsibilities

Conduct high-quality research and actively participate in research communities to enhance the Faculty's research profile.
Develop and deliver teaching in undergraduate and postgraduate law programmes.

Hold a first degree in Law (LLB, BA(Jurisprudence), or JD) and an additional postgraduate degree in Law (LLM, PhD, D.Phil, or SJD).
Professorship applicants must be outstanding academics with international reputation as field leaders.
Associate Professorship applicants must demonstrate excellence in teaching and research.
Assistant Professorship applicants must be academically strong with potential for excellence in teaching and research.
Applicants without a postgraduate law degree may apply if they have strong publications or relevant teaching, practice, or judiciary experience.

Full-time, three-year fixed-term contract with possibility of renewal and consideration for tenure before expiry of second three-year contract; direct tenure possible for suitably qualified applicants.
