Tenure-track Professor/Associate Professor in Mental Wellness in the Department of Social Work and Social Administration

Duties & Responsibilities

Lead and conduct cutting-edge research on mental wellness interventions and related topics.
Develop novel non-pharmacological interventions and strengthen the Department's research team.
Teach courses and supervise students at both graduate and undergraduate levels.
Participate in collaborative and interprofessional efforts with colleagues at the University and internationally.
Provide academic leadership and administration of academic programmes.

Hold a PhD or equivalent in Social Work, clinical psychology, or educational psychology.
Possess formal professional training in social work and a recognised professional social work qualification.
Have substantial post-qualification practice experience, particularly in mental health or community-based settings.
Demonstrate strong research competence and a proven publication record.
Show experience in quantitative, behavioural, or cognitive intervention research.
Possess outstanding academic credentials and extensive experience in externally-funded research.

Full-time, tenure-track position on a three-year fixed-term basis with possibility of renewal and consideration for tenure before expiry of second three-year contract; exceptional candidates may be considered for direct tenure.
