Duties & Responsibilities

  • Conduct classes and practical training including supervision of students' projects and work-integrated learning.
  • Prepare and update training materials and assist in curriculum development.
  • Deliver catering and culinary services to hotel guests and members of the public.
  • Maintain training-related records and store inventory.
  • Assist with routine maintenance of equipment and facilities.
  • Assist with student recruitment and placement.
  • Assist in running training programmes, training kitchens, special events and culinary competitions.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Hold a recognised higher diploma in Hotel and/or Catering Management, Western Cooking, or equivalent (preferably with Hygiene Manager Certificate).
  • Have at least 3 years' relevant work or teaching experience in hotel/catering industry.
  • Demonstrate good communication and presentation skills in English and Chinese.
  • Have good knowledge of basic computer applications.
  • Ability to pass a trade test.
