Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain an independent, externally funded research program in health economics, pharmacoepidemiology, medication safety, or related fields.
- Publish scholarly work in high-impact peer-reviewed journals.
- Teach Bachelor of Pharmacy and graduate (Master, MPhil, PhD) students in relevant areas.
- Mentor graduate students and postdoctoral fellows.
- Provide service to the School, College, University, and professional community.
Requirements & Qualifications
- PharmD, PhD, or equivalent doctorate in pharmacoeconomics, pharmacoepidemiology, health outcomes research, or related discipline.
- Strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals relevant to stated research fields.
- Evidence of potential to secure independent external research funding.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Commitment to excellence in teaching and mentoring diverse students.
Appointment
- Tenure-track position; normally made on contract basis for up to three years initially, subject to mutual agreement for longer-term appointment or substantiation.
