Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop functional polymeric materials for energy-saving applications including product design, trials, and implementation.
- Characterize and test samples across lab-scale and process stages, analyzing thermodynamic and energy performance.
- Conduct R&D to achieve project milestones, write reports, and deliver presentations.
- Collaborate with supervisors, project sponsors, and industry partners.
- Work independently with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
Requirements & Qualifications
- For Assistant Research Engineer: MPhil/MSc degree or bachelor's degree with at least 1 year R&D experience in Polymer, Chemistry, Materials Science, Engineering, or related fields.
- For Associate Research Engineer: PhD or MPhil/MSc degree with at least 3 years R&D experience in Polymer, Chemistry, Materials Science, Engineering, or related fields.
- Excellent English and Chinese communication skills with strong report writing and presentation abilities.
- Experience in polymer materials development and characterization, with nanocoating experience preferred.
- Demonstrated creativity, critical thinking, self-motivation, and capabilities in literature/patent search.
