Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct cutting-edge research in AI robotics aligned with space sustainability challenges.
- Publish findings in top-tier journals and conferences in robotics and space.
- Collaborate with academic, industry and commercial partners on research projects.
- Assist in supervising research students and contribute to grant applications.
Requirements & Qualifications
- PhD in Robotics, AI, Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, or related fields.
- Strong publication record in AI, robotics, or space engineering.
- Proficiency in Python/C++, Robot Operating System (ROS), and AI/ML frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Hands-on experience with robotic hardware such as robotic arms or mobile platforms.
- Passion for space sustainability and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Appointment
- Initial 1-year contract, renewable annually (up to 5 years)
