Duties & Responsibilities
- Teach and design courses related to science teaching in primary and secondary schools.
- Undertake scholarly research and seek external competitive research grants.
- Conduct teaching practicum supervision.
- Supervise postgraduate students.
- Direct and manage programmes.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Hold excellent academic qualifications including a relevant doctoral degree.
- Demonstrate strong commitment to excellent teaching.
- Have a track record of active research and publications.
- For Associate Professor: demonstrate outstanding research, success in obtaining competitive grants, strong international scholarship, and experience supervising research postgraduate students.
- Ability to teach courses in educational technology and/or STEAM education is advantageous.
Appointment
- Full-time contract for up to three years initially, which may lead to longer-term appointment or substantiation.
