Duties & Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding teaching across the English curriculum.
- Supervise research students and provide mentorship.
- Conduct research with potential societal impact, particularly in digital humanities or emergent research methods.
- Participate in departmental seminars and contribute to faculty life.
- Undertake administrative and advisory responsibilities.
Requirements & Qualifications
- PhD degree in English literary studies or related field.
- Demonstrable track record of refereed publications.
- Relevant undergraduate and postgraduate teaching experience.
- Desirable: successful grant application record, postgraduate supervisory experience, administrative experience, and evidence of societal engagement.
Appointment
- Full-time contract for up to three years initially, with potential for longer-term appointment upon mutual agreement.
