Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead medical student education including curriculum design and program accreditation.
- Pioneer innovative, technology-driven teaching pedagogies.
- Conduct cutting-edge clinical and translational research.
- Optionally provide clinical services through university health service partners.
- Contribute to shaping the School's direction and growth from inception.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Medical qualification registrable with the Medical Council of Hong Kong and specialist qualification recognized by the Hong Kong Academy of Medicine.
- Higher academic qualification such as MD, MS, or PhD is highly advantageous.
- Demonstrated clinical excellence and professional expertise in their field.
- Proven experience in effective teaching of medical students with vision for integrating technology.
- Demonstrated capacity to conduct research with strong peer-reviewed publication record and ability to secure competitive funding.
- For Clinical Professor/Associate Professor: substantial clinical/research experience, education and research leadership, and regional/international reputation.
Appointment
- 3-year contract (renewable) for Clinical Associate Professor and Clinical Assistant Professor; substantive basis for Clinical Professor; 3-year renewable contract for Clinical Professoriate of Practice track.
