Duties & Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses through lectures, tutorials, and demonstrations.
- Support curriculum design and develop teaching materials for the School of Medicine.
- Participate in course and curriculum development with focus on innovative pedagogical approaches.
- Advise, mentor students, and provide student-related services.
- Support project-based and experiential learning activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Dean of Medicine or delegates.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Hold a doctoral degree in a relevant discipline or closely-related medical discipline.
- Demonstrate ability to teach in English.
- Possess 2-4 years tertiary teaching and mentoring experience (Lecturer II); 4-6 years (Lecturer I); or 6-8 years (Senior Lecturer).
- Demonstrate excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Experience in teaching interdisciplinary core curriculum courses is advantageous.
Appointment
- Full-time — Two-year initial contract, renewable subject to performance review and mutual agreement.
