Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead the Student Development Services team to provide counselling, career development, sports, cultural programmes, and student welfare services.
- Provide strategic leadership aligned with the University's Strategic Plan and promote holistic student development.
- Build and maintain relationships with academic units, employers, students, and external organisations.
- Address students' financial and non-financial needs while enhancing their personal and professional development.
- Manage four Associate Directors overseeing counselling, career, student life, and physical education.
- Maintain quality facilities and programmes for counselling, employment, sports, and cultural activities.
- Uphold professional competence and ethics standards across the Student Development Services team.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Postgraduate degree in a relevant discipline with substantial senior-level management experience.
- Experience serving young people, preferably in tertiary education.
- Extensive experience liaising with industry, community, and international organisations.
- Strong leadership, strategic planning, and crisis management skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and negotiation abilities.
- Fluent written and spoken English and Chinese, including Putonghua.
