Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct laboratory work including qPCR, nucleic acid extraction, data collection, and statistical analysis.
- Prepare research reports, progress updates, and scientific publications.
- Collaborate with R&D team to develop and validate new diagnostic test methods.
- Assist in guiding junior research staff.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Hold a Master's or Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Medicine, Biomedical Sciences, Life Sciences, or related disciplines.
- Demonstrate strong organisational skills, excellent English communication, and scientific writing ability.
- Work independently and collaboratively as a team-player and problem-solver.
- Proficiency in spoken Cantonese and/or Putonghua and written Chinese is advantageous.
- PhD holders in Veterinary Medicine, Biological Sciences, or related fields may be considered for Postdoctoral Fellow position.
Appointment
- Full-time — 12 months with possibility of extension (4 posts available: 3 Research Assistant positions and 1 Postdoctoral Fellow position)
