Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct research in Philosophy with potential focus on Confucianism, ethics, bioethics, moral philosophy, or religion.
- Demonstrate excellence in teaching at undergraduate level.
- Maintain a strong publication record appropriate to career stage.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Hold a PhD or equivalent qualification in Philosophy or related field.
- Demonstrate commitment to excellence in research and teaching.
- For Associate Professor/Professor level: record of obtaining competitive external funding is advantageous.
- Background in Confucianism or contemporary areas of ethics/bioethics is advantageous but not required.
Appointment
- Full-time; Initial appointment at Assistant Professor rank on three-year renewable contract; other ranks subject to negotiation.
