Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct cutting-edge materials research focused on health, energy, sustainability, and advanced manufacturing.
- Teach effectively in materials science and engineering at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
- Develop strong, independent, and externally funded research programs.
- Nurture future leaders through rigorous interdisciplinary education and mentorship.
- Promote innovation and entrepreneurship by translating research into commercial applications.
- Participate in service activities for the Department, School, and University.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Hold a PhD in materials science and engineering, physics, chemistry, or a closely related engineering field.
- Demonstrate ability to develop independent and innovative research programs.
- Show evidence of effective teaching capability.
- Research interests should align with materials for health/biomedicine, energy/information, sustainability, advanced modeling, or AI-empowered materials synthesis.
