Duties & Responsibilities
- Teach courses in the General Education China Programme including Understanding Modern China, China in the World, and Hong Kong in the Wider Constitutional Order.
- Develop and enhance curriculum for China-related topics in the University General Education programme.
- Support organization of student enrichment activities and academic activities.
- Participate in teaching projects to improve teaching and learning outcomes.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Ph.D. degree in Humanities or Social Sciences.
- Strong commitment to teaching and pursuit of knowledge.
- Training in Humanities and Social Sciences with focus on China.
- Background in social governance, economic development, or international relations preferred; research credentials on China-related topics, fieldwork experience in China, or experience teaching China studies advantageous.
Appointment
- Full-time contract, initially 1-2 years (renewable subject to satisfactory performance and mutual agreement).
