Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide professional guidance on curriculum design, culturally responsive teaching, and Language Across the Curriculum strategies for primary schools.
- Provide professional advice and feedback on co-planning materials, teaching resources, and curriculum design for non-Chinese speaking students.
- Design and deliver professional development workshops and seminars for school teachers.
- Observe project activities and offer constructive feedback to project schools.
- Participate in project meetings to contribute to alignment of pedagogical approaches across partners.
- Assist in reviewing and refining project deliverables including teaching materials and dissemination resources.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Master's degree or above in Education, Mathematics or related discipline.
- Recognized professional teaching qualification and more than 10 years post-qualification experience in teacher training and professional development.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese with fluency in Cantonese.
- Work experience in teaching non-Chinese speaking children, curriculum development with local schools, or collaboration with NGOs or charitable foundations is preferred.
