Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist in designing research tools such as experiments and questionnaires.
- Conduct data processing and analysis.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Head of Unit or delegates.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Honours degree in Public Administration, Public Policy, Political Science, Economics, Computational Social Science or related disciplines.
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
- Knowledge of Git, LaTeX and reproducible research practices.
- Proficiency in statistical software such as Stata, R or Python.
- Proficiency in handling large datasets for scraping, cleaning and structuring.
- Preferred: experience in transformer-based NLP, agent-based modeling, configurational methods, structural equation modeling, experimental or survey-based HCI research, or representation-learning techniques.
Appointment
- Part-time, six months initially with possibility of further appointment.
