Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct literature reviews for research projects on poverty and labour force participation.
- Assist in quantitative and qualitative data analysis.
- Support research funding applications.
- Help prepare research reports, academic publications, and dissemination materials.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Head of Unit.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Master's degree in Sociology, Social Sciences or related discipline, or good honours degree with 3+ years research experience.
- Fluent in both written and spoken English and Chinese.
- Extensive experience with statistical software such as Stata, R, or Python.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Preference given to candidates with background in Demography, Survey Research, or Statistics.
