Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct research and development in functional coating design and synthesis
- Perform organic synthesis, material preparation, modification and characterization
- Draft research proposals and academic papers
- Contribute to addressing engineering challenges in aerospace, offshore, defence, automobile, civil, energy and healthcare sectors
Requirements & Qualifications
- PhD degree in organic chemistry, coating or material science
- Strong background in chemical synthesis, polymer chemistry or emulsion polymerization
- R&D experience in organic synthesis and material characterization
- Proficiency in spoken and written English and Chinese
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills with ability to work independently
Appointment
- Full-time, 1-year contract (renewable)
