Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct high-quality research on gender, digitalisation, family change, and family-work interface with focus on China, US, Canada, or cross-national comparisons.
- Prepare manuscripts for publication in leading academic journals.
- Write public-facing articles including op-eds, policy briefs, and media commentaries.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Sociology, Demography, Family Studies, or related discipline.
- Outstanding track record of publications in English-language journals and ability to conduct independent research.
- Advanced proficiency in quantitative data analysis using Stata, R, Python, or other statistical software.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English.
- Experience with computational methods or computational approaches to family and gender research is preferred.
Appointment
- Full-time, 1-year contract (renewable, subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability).
