Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead strategic and operational activities of the department as Head.
- Champion research and teaching programmes aligned with Faculty strategic priorities.
- Contribute to Faculty leadership structure and decision-making.
- Conduct research within area of expertise and mentor faculty scholars.
- Oversee undergraduate and postgraduate programmes including PhD, MPA, MIPA, and DPA.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Hold a PhD in Political Science or related discipline.
- Demonstrate Full Professor-level academic credentials and research record.
- Possess substantial experience in academic leadership and administration.
- Show strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Exhibit commitment to research, teaching, and community engagement.
Appointment
- Full-time; Professor position on tenure terms; Head of Department appointment for initial three-year term, renewable by mutual agreement.
