Duties & Responsibilities
- Teach and supervise students at undergraduate and postgraduate levels (BA, MA, MPhil, PhD).
- Conduct research in Chinese religions, Chinese intellectual history, and/or Southeast Asian and South Asian Buddhism.
- Undertake administrative duties in academic programmes and student activities.
- Teach courses including Readings in Pre-Qin Confucianism and Daoism, History of Chinese Thought, Chinese Religious Literature, and History of Chinese Buddhist Thought.
Requirements & Qualifications
- PhD in East Asian culture and literature or religious studies.
- Competence in research and teaching in Chinese religions, Chinese intellectual history, and/or Southeast Asian and South Asian Buddhism.
- Proficiency in both Chinese and English is essential.
