Duties & Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in embedded systems, AI, and related areas.
- Establish an independent, externally funded research programme in embedded and physical AI.
- Supervise and mentor undergraduate and graduate students.
- Collaborate with faculty members and external partners to advance research and education.
Requirements & Qualifications
- PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics, or a closely related discipline.
- Strong research track record or demonstrated potential for high-impact research in embedded and/or physical AI, commensurate with the rank sought.
- Strong commitment to excellence in teaching, student mentorship, and collaborative research.
- Potential or proven ability to attract external research funding.
Appointment
- Full-time, Contract — up to three years initially, which may lead to longer-term appointment or substantiation upon mutual agreement.
