Duties & Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in their area of expertise.
- Establish and lead an independent, externally funded research programme.
- Supervise and mentor undergraduate and graduate students.
- Collaborate with faculty members at the institution and external partners to advance research and education.
Requirements & Qualifications
- PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Engineering, Physics, or a closely related discipline.
- Strong research track record or demonstrated potential for high-impact research in optical communications, quantum computing, or wireless systems.
- Strong commitment to excellence in teaching, student mentorship, and collaborative research.
- Demonstrated potential or proven ability to attract external research funding.
Appointment
- Full-time, tenure-track position; initial contract of up to three years, potentially leading to longer-term appointment or substantiation.
