Duties & Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and manage large financial and economic datasets from sources like CRSP, Compustat, and Bloomberg.
- Conduct empirical analysis using statistical and econometric methods under supervisor guidance.
- Write and maintain programs in statistical software including Python, Stata, R, SAS, or MATLAB.
- Perform literature reviews and summarize academic research relevant to ongoing projects.
- Assist in preparing research papers, presentations, tables, and figures for publication and conferences.
- Provide general administrative and logistical support for research activities.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Statistics, Data Science, or related disciplines (Master's degree preferred).
- Proficiency in at least one programming or statistical language such as Python, R, Stata, SAS, or MATLAB.
- Solid quantitative and analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
- Good command of written and spoken English.
- Self-motivation, responsibility, and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Appointment
- Full-time — Contract for one year, renewable subject to mutual agreement.
