Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct research on AI for large-scale urban and scientific systems including LLM-based agents, multi-agent coordination, and spatio-temporal data mining.
- Develop and maintain research software, data pipelines, simulators and experimental platforms.
- Collect, process and analyse data, run experiments, and prepare reports, papers and presentations.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the project leader or Head of Unit.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Honours degree or above in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Transportation/Urban Science or related discipline.
- Strong programming skills (e.g. Python) and experience with machine learning or deep learning frameworks.
- Good English communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team.
- Preferred: experience in Large Language Models, AI agents, multi-agent systems, spatio-temporal data, simulation, or data engineering.
Appointment
- Full-time or part-time, 1-12 months initially with possibility of further appointment.
