Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform molecular and cellular experiments including protein assays and iPSC-derived neuronal models.
- Handle and process clinical samples for research purposes.
- Assist with in vivo animal studies.
- Maintain laboratory records, stock, equipment and safety standards.
- Train and guide junior team members.
- Contribute to data analysis, manuscripts and presentations as appropriate.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor's or master's degree in biological, medical, life sciences, genomics or related discipline.
- Hands-on laboratory experience in molecular biology and cell culture techniques (DNA/RNA/protein extraction, qPCR, immunoassays).
- Experience with clinical or biological samples, in vivo animal work, or iPSC/neuronal culture preferred.
- Genuine interest in human genetics and rare disease research.
- Careful, reliable, punctual with strong sense of responsibility and good laboratory practice.
- Fluent in written and spoken English with good communication skills.
