Duties & Responsibilities
- Support development, calibration and validation of microscopic traffic simulation engine.
- Support development and testing of web-based Traffic Impact Assessment workflow modules and user interface.
- Assist with TIA report data extraction, database development, data checking and version management.
- Assist in developing, testing and evaluating traffic diagnosis and mitigation measures.
- Support Hong Kong traffic data analysis, software integration, case studies and project deliverables.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Transportation Engineering, Civil Engineering, Data Science or related field.
- Strong programming skills in Python, C++, Java or JavaScript.
- Knowledge of traffic simulation, transportation data analysis, artificial intelligence, web development or database systems.
- Good analytical skills and ability to work effectively with researchers from different disciplines.
- Ability to commit to full-time employment without concurrent employment obligations.
