Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct literature review and collect user requirements in safe and efficient transportation.
- Contribute to system engineering design for smart construction and transportation projects.
- Conduct field tests and undertake independent research in one of four specialized areas: IoT development, real-time monitoring algorithms, cargo stability monitoring, or fleet coordination mechanisms.
Requirements & Qualifications
- PhD degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.
- Strong publication and project experience in one of the specified research areas.
- Ability to conduct field tests, undertake independent research, and collaborate in multidisciplinary teams.
- Detail-oriented with strong sense of responsibility and self-motivation.
Appointment
- Full-time, 1-year contract (renewable subject to performance and funding)
