Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct optometric assessments and psychophysical experiments with research subjects, particularly children.
- Collect and analyse research data from the study.
- Recruit subjects and perform administrative and project operation tasks.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the project leader.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Research Associate: Master's degree in Optometry or honours degree with 3+ years research/relevant experience; Research Assistant: Honours degree in Optometry or equivalent.
- Fluent written English and Chinese with spoken Cantonese or Putonghua.
- Strong communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Preference for research experience in Optometry and/or psychophysics or visual electrophysiology experience.
Appointment
- Full-time Research Assistant (6 months, renewable) or Part-time Research Associate/Assistant (12 months, renewable)
