Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct high-quality and innovative research on phytochemistry, formulation, and pharmacological mechanisms of Chinese herbal medicine.
- Lead and participate in interdisciplinary R&D projects to advance translational development of CHM-based drug candidates.
- Transfer academic knowledge into innovative technologies for impactful research outputs.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Hold a Ph.D. degree in Pharmaceuticals, Medicinal Chemistry, Natural Product Chemistry, Pharmacology, or related disciplines, with postdoctoral experience preferred.
- Demonstrate expertise in CHM-based new drug R&D, including preparation processes, quality control, and pharmacological mechanisms.
- Show capacity to independently design research protocols, interpret findings, maintain strong publication records, and obtain external research funding.
- Be innovative and self-motivated with strong planning and organisational skills.
- Possess good English communication skills and clear writing ability.
Appointment
- Full-time, fixed-term contract for up to three years with potential re-appointment subject to mutual agreement.
