Duties & Responsibilities
- Work with the Principal Investigator on research projects related to tourism and Chinese nationalism.
- Analyse online source material from Little Red Book for data collection.
- Analyse large text data corpus using machine learning, sentiment analysis, and LLM tools.
- Code major themes from collected data manually or through automated tools.
- Perform literature reviews focusing on innovations in big data analysis.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Hold a bachelor's or advanced degree in social science, digital humanities, communications, or a quantitative field.
- Demonstrate strong research background through written papers, conference presentations, or formal publications.
- Possess qualitative and quantitative analytical capability and effective communication skills.
- Have knowledge of or interest in learning content analysis of social media, particularly Little Red Book.
Appointment
- Fixed-term contract of six months to one year with possibility of extension.
