Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct massive data analysis, computation and reporting for ocean research projects.
- Participate in field studies, sample collection, and laboratory experiments.
- Assist in planning and implementing all aspects of research activities.
- Coordinate with government agencies and external collaborators.
- Perform administrative duties as assigned.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Master's or bachelor's degree with good honors in computer science, physics, mathematics, engineering or related discipline.
- Proficiency in programming, data processing and data analysis software such as MATLAB.
- Good research knowledge and strong analytical skills.
- Excellent written and spoken English and Chinese.
- Relevant research experience preferred; highly motivated and able to work independently.
Appointment
- 1-year contract (renewable)
